Ammon Bundy was arrested twice this week during incidents at the governor's special session.

Bundy was in custody at the Ada County Jail, but the jail tweeted Thursday he was released that morning.

"He was released after posting bond Thursday morning," the jail tweeted. "We apologize for any confusion. He will not appear in court today."

A group of people, including his wife, were looking for him all day; from the jail to the Capitol.

"Ammon Bundy is safe and with Lisa," People's Rights posted. "We do not know anything else. We will have information later. Thank you to everyone who helped us today to find him!"

Bundy said after he got released from the Ada County Sheriff's Office he walked five or six miles to his truck.

"I was just thinking I'd walk to my truck and then go home," he said in a Facebook video.

After taking a rest on a bench, he made it close to his truck before someone recognized him and took him the rest of the way.

Bundy says he apologized for the confusion and had no idea so many people were looking for him.
